Cleaning & care.
Charoite should only be cleaned under running, lukewarm water. If the water has too much limescale, it’s recommended to clean it with rainwater. Still mineral water is also well suited. Please do not use cleaning agents, and no soap either. After cleaning, simply wipe the charoite gently with a clean, soft cloth—please do not use microfibre polishing cloths. Also, please don’t dry it with a hairdryer or expose the charoite to strong sunlight; it doesn’t like that.
Charoite is a soft rock and can therefore crack or split. To discharge it, simply clean the charoite under warm running water and then recharge it only in the morning or evening sun. A few minutes are completely sufficient.
