Resveratrol and OPC are so-called secondary plant substances or flavonoids. These are found particularly in fruits, leaves, or tree bark. OPC stands for oligomeric proanthocyanidins. They primarily appear as pigments. Plant pigments not only serve as attractants and signals but also frequently perform a protective function.
