The cherry stone bag / cherry stone pillow is an ancient Swiss home remedy. It’s also often called a dry hot water bottle. It works because the completely dry cherry stone charges up with heat and releases it in a targeted way. In addition, the cherry stone bag doesn’t cool down as quickly, and there’s no risk of scalding, as could happen with conventional hot water bottles filled with water.
